Avalanches in British Columbia

I chose British Columbia because it has a lot of dangerous avalanches and is vulnerable as it's communities are usually near mountains with a risk of avalanches. There are many articles about dangerous avalanches in BC and traveler warnings, showing how deeply affected the communities have been by avalanches I the past. BC is still vulnerable today, as it still has mountains and snowfall, which could cause avalanches on the communities which remain near the mountain.
